How do I save a chart settings that would apply for all instruments.
Whenever I open new chart it is defaulting to line. I was expecting it save last used settings., if not something defined by me.
If using the desktop platform;
Open a chart, set it up (add indicators, change views etc.) then right click on to the chart, scroll down to ‘Templates’ select ‘Create Template’ name it, save it and then when previewing a new instrument, right click on it immediately and then scroll down to ‘Templates’, select the one you created and it will open up as you’ve previously defined.

The web app was recently updated, and it includes an improved TradingView integration. After the update, there’s no ‘Save layout’ button. Instead, each drawing and indicator you apply to the chart is automatically saved. Still, I see how it can be useful to save specific templates and I’ll forward your feedback.
Is there any ETA when this is going to return? Seems backwards to remove templates being that this is an extremely common and helpful feature. No one should have to keep adding indicators manually each time they open a new chart.

I completely understand how disruptive this change can be, especially if templates were part of your setup. Even though we don’t have any updates, I’ll continue to raise this internally and post here if there’s something new.
