What about user-made categories? I could definitely see the benefit in being able to categorise based on different criteria, such as stocks I might not personally trust that much, or ones I plan to sell as soon as I break a good profit vs ones that are more long-term.

I think that for this situation you can take advantage of the upcoming (now in beta) AutoInvest feature where you can customize your selection of fractional shares/ETFs under one pie (“category”).
