Stocks & Shares ISA Practice Account gone

Hi.

Hope you can help.

My wife has been running a Stocks & Shares ISA account in practice mode for some time. She clicked on something and accidentally stopped the practice account mode (no idea what she did, I wasn’t with her at the time).

Now when I try to re-engage the practice mode, the Stocks & Shares version is not available, only CFD and Invest.

Has the S&S ISA practice mode been discontinued?

And if not, is there any way to reinstate her previous practice state?

It was doing rather well, and is my way of teaching her about investing and getting her enthusiastic about using and trusting the T212 platform.

She’s very skeptical about anything that isn’t a nice “safe” high street bank account, and this makes T212 look dodgy to her. If there’s a way to get her practice snapshot reinstated, that would be really marvellous.

Any help you can offer is much appreciated.

Strange - from memory you’ve never been able to run a practice ISA. It makes no difference what you buy shares in practice accounts in.

Scrooge is right here - we have never offered the ability to create a demo Stocks ISA. In addition to that, it’s unlikely for a practice account to reset unless this is initiated from the Settings menu. Still, I’ll send you a private message to get some additional information and check with the team.

Oh, I’m really sorry.

I set it up for her quite a while back, and I just don’t think I realised it was not specifically a S&S ISA. My fault entirely.
