Tax on day trading US stocks from the uk

Hi,

I have begun day-trading US stocks from a UK invest account. Will I be taxed on my US and UK profits differently? am I taxed by both US and UK on US stocks? How does taxation work?

There is a thread on UK tax.

The short story is you get taxed on your net gains for the tax year(gains less losses). Currently around 12.3k tax free but believe that is reducing to 6k and later 3k but Iā€™m quoting from memory so check it out.
