Value stocks ideas?

I’ve a pie full of growth but am looking for strong value stocks, solid financials which offer some growth long term…ideas?

Hi @Alpha_bandit,

Here are some value stocks that you might want to research:

On T212
-Telefonica*
-National Grid*
-Berkshire Hathaway*
-Iberdrola*
-Legal and General
-Orange
-Spirit airlines*
-Ahold Delhaize*
-IAG*
-British Telecom
-Repsol
-Severn Trent
-CIE Automotive*
-Centrica
-KPN
-Renault*
-Cineworld
-Shoezone
-Ab Foods*
-Banco de Santander
-Banco de Sabadell
-Visa*
-Mastercard*
-Diageo
-Duke Energy
-Mondelez
-American Water Works

Not on T212: (in case you also invest on other platforms)
-Enel*
-Neurones*
-EDP Renovaveis*

Please research them prior to committing significant investments. These are just ideas for you to research if you wish.

The ones with an asterisk(*) are the ones that I think would be best to start researching. I added the asterisk once I realised the list was quite long .

Thanks that’s a great list, a number I’ve never looked at.

I re-read your post again and saw the “solid financials” section.

Quite a few of those such as Centrica, Natwest, Banco de Sabadell, Cineworld, the airlines (IAG & Spirit airlines) won’t fit the bill..

I’d probably say, from memory that this might be a better list to start off with:
-Telefonica
-National Grid
-Red Electrica
-Berkshire Hathaway
-Iberdrola
-Legal and General
-Orange
-Ahold Delhaize
-British Telecom
-Severn Trent
-KPN
-Banco de Santander
-Visa
-Mastercard
-Diageo
-Duke Energy
-Mondelez
-American Water Works

I have removed the ones that I seem to remember that they have high debt. Telefonica also has high debt but I think it is still quite solid so I left it in.

Amazingly helpful! I’ve a high growth portfolio which will helpfully include stand out companies of the future but am looking to build another pie of value and hopefully the two pies will be a nice balance
