Very slow orders - More than 15 mins?

Now my sell order isn’t going through. Been several mins. Sigh. I might just count today out already lost out on a few key swings.

Extremely slow! Lack of communication fro 212?!!

Again is loading…

Jave the same issue. Lost some trades yesterday and today bc od that. Cant cancel pending trades execution time about 10 minutes

@David can you inform us when it will be safe to trade again? I dont want to test it out myself

@baserv Of course, we’ll let you know once this has been resolved.

I was waiting for an opening bell run-up on a stock. Bought in at $5.88 but it took 5 mins for order to process. By the time I got in price was at $5.96. I’ve likely lost a good chunk of the move.

@David any updates? Can i trade tommorow? You had a maintenace break this weekend. Is the problem solved?

We’ve made significant optimisations and we are working on a solution to make the execution at market open almost instant, even when there’s an avalanche of orders.

@AlexK soo… is it better now?

Yes, it should be much better today and every day there will be further improvements until we get to a few seconds.

@AlexK can you please keep me informed about further development of the situation? Information about any improvements made is vital to me

Hi,

Sorry to say but the performance is a lot worse today.
Normal market orders are taking 20-30 seconds to go through.

Take a look at my account, purchased a small stake in Greggs PLC and it was very delayed.
Any help or advice?

Well I am just confused, is the expectation to have instant order on any level of liquidity? Because this specific stock has volume in 100k, compared to some big names which have few Millions.

I think there is difference in use case, where there is actually delay due to technical nature aka issue in purchase of some high liquid stock vs purchase low liquid stock delay due to liquidity…

Average volume on this stock is normally 500k+.
You may be right, perhaps the volume was too low.

:exploding_head: Just wasn’t the first to be slow. IAG was also slow today, and that’s sitting on 5m volume.

I didn’t test anyway, rarely use market orders.

Just wanted to point out there might be 2 different issues at hand. If both should be fixed by the upcoming optimisation , no clue. But not sure how you can fix low liquidity:)

The delay is experienced with instruments which get quoted rarely. The fix will be deployed this weekend.
