We Want (or I want) Trading 212 shares

I am absolutely loving Trading 212 and I am convinced they’re on their way to the top. I just have one request to make ;please can we be able to buy into the company at some point in the not too distant future https://tse2.mm.bing.net/th?id=OGC.a38969b2983c55973b3b6432bbdfc979&pid=Api&rurl=https%3A%2F%2Fmedia.giphy.com%2Fmedia%2Fl4JyX3V0yydvPHNBe%2Fgiphy.gif&ehk=c2%2FOhiZEl4LScK06aHTiUQlstp9kf9qiDbcDnfKgKcc%3D

I believe Ivan or someone from T212 mentioned that the company wasn’t in need of fundraising to operate so going public at this time wasn’t necessary. However I did share the same sentiment that if there were to be a stock listing in the future I would certainly want to acquire a few for myself.

Its a reality that many great companies do well but never go public, despite many people in the stockmarket wishing they would. there are often still ways to invest privately however, but this usually requires a great deal of capital to begin with and serious commitment.

I appreciate your belief in Trading 212. Getting some of our core clients onboard as investors would certainly give us strength. But we have a long way to go before contemplating an IPO.

The growth numbers that we are seeing are staggering. It is exciting to set new records every week. And it’s not just the superficial metrics - it’s the qualitative metrics such as client equity, number of trades and volume that are exploding.

We have a sustainable business model which allows us to support this growth without external funding. And we don’t let ourselves be carried away by dreams of big valuations. There’s too much work to do.

Maybe consider opening a swag store for those die-hard 212 groupies. Who would not want a Trading 212 coffee mug or a Trading 212 hoodie :raised_hands:t2: :joy:

Cool idea! But if we do that we’ll have to sell them for…£0

Seriously, we’ll be happy to give away some coffee mugs, hoodies and t-shirts to those of you who are helping this community.

Give me a few weeks to arrange it.

Haha! @datageek make sure once your 20 refferal, are done, you are free to advertise my code.

Are there any stationery aficionados around?
Look what I found in my stash. A couple of custom made, A4, dot grid notebooks with our “vintage” logo.

They are made of high-quality 90gsm paper. There’s no feathering, no bleed-through, and there’s just the right texture so they are also great for pencils.

They were made by my specifications about 7 years ago but I still remember agonising for hours over the shade of grey for the dots and their diameter. In the end, I was not entirely satisfied by the result.

Many features of Trading 212 started as sketches on these notebooks…

Anyways, we’ll add them to the gift pack that we are preparing.
