Where have tickers gone? - ✅ Solved

The trick I use is to put the comma (",") at the end of the ticker.
I think I got the idea from someone’s suggestion on here. It does not always work, but it improves the success rate (ocassionally the ticker is still quite low down).

I have definitely searched for tickers before (without the comma) that gave a long list of results, with the ticker being one of the last ones.

Doesn’t help for all.

I agree. There are quite a few for which it does not work, but it improves it.

And some cannot be found by ticker because it is not there at all

I prefer tickers as well.

Thus early 2020, I proposed.

But sadly still not live or with some feedback on priority.

My guess if any, very low.

Good news! We will bring back the option to show only tickers. The only caveat is that it wouldn’t sync across devices.

That was a quick turnaround.

Anyway

Thank you! It’s a small thing, but very welcome. Show only tickers has continued to work on the web platform.

There have been several app updates but tickers have not yet reappeared. I hope this is still planned to happen as I am unlikely to succeed with a request to Vanguard that they change the names of their funds to make them more easily distinguishable. :slightly_smiling_face: I am on Version 5.6.8.2

It is not forgotten. It’s actually already implemented and pending to be tested. We had to delay it in favour of performance optimisations

I was getting worried they weren’t going to fix it and it would get forgotten like vwap…

Glad it’s back.

Looks like they secretly fixed the absolutely huge issue of the ASK appearing as the BID too that we’ve had for two days.
