Will I be paid with dividends if I buy a fractional share?

Hi! My portfolio has a lot of fractional shares. Also, companies pay dividends. Will I be paid even with only a fraction of a share?

as long as the fraction covers the smallest whole unit of currency payable by the dividend. this smallest whole unit however applies after the FX conversion into your portfolio currency, so its no good owning 1/8th of a share that pays an 8p dividend if the conversion to USD means its less than 1. try to keep the shares at or slightly above reasonable numbers, such as .25 or .5 of a share etc when the fractional doesn’t divide the payment by too much to ensure you always receive money even if …
