I’ve been using bank deposit for a while now, but while checking my payment methods I noticed that iDEAL doesn’t have the 0.7% transaction fee. (I have reached my 2000 limit already)
Was I wrong all this time? Has this been lifted recently? Any idea if this will stay like this for the immediate future?

There was a recent change, and the deposits with iDEAL are now free from our side. The 0.70% fee and 2000 EUR limit don’t apply to transactions made with this payment method anymore.
We made sure to update the relevant article from our Help Centre.
This is great news! I requested this back in 2020, to make iDEAL free!!
Can you please tell me why can’t I see iDEAL as a payment method as a German client?
iDEAL is not just working in NL, but also Germany and the EU.
The biggest EU and German neo bank N26 has native support for iDEAL and also Revolut and BUNQ etc.
Can you please enable iDEAL EU wide?
