Hello,
I just looked on my Trading 212 account on my phone app, and it now shows my pie, within my Pie, with my funds redistributed into this Pie within a Pie.
To be clear, my Pie only consisted of 2 investments for a trial run. I had the funds split 75/25. The split still looks the same, but when you see the funds, they appear to be split into 3 now?
If anyone can point me in the right direction here, I would appreciate it. I presume I could just withdraw the funds, create the pie again and redistribute, but Im wondering if there is another fix?
Not sure if I’m misunderstanding, but it seems that you are just looking at your list of investments, which includes one pie and two “manual” investments. My T212 app shows the same.
If you click on the filter button, you can choose whether you want these to be displayed like this.

Hi @maxkshaw , Thank you for that suggestion. The issue is actually a little more confusing than that.
My “Mixed Pie” is actually the two investments you see there. Mixed Pie is the actual Pie you are viewing in the image above, and yet somehow, it has added itself, to itself.
Further to that oddness, it has taken money from both JPMorgan and Vanguard to pull back into itself.
Just to really hammer home the weirdness,
The structure before:
Mixed Pie (Test): contains
- JPMorgan (Roughly £600)
- Vanguard (Roughly £100)
This is the structure now:
Mixed Pie (Test): contains
- JPMorgan (Roughly £450)
- Mixed Pie (Test) (Roughly £200)
- Vanguard (Roughly £50)
I cannot stress enough, that as far as I know, I had nothing to do with this. When I checked this morning, it was normal.
When I logged in just before, it was like the above screen shot.
According to trading212 it shouldnt be possible to have your pie, within itself, and yet, there it is?

That’s really strange. Is it possible that you accidentally exported part of the pie’s investments so you now have part of them in the pie and the rest as manual investments?
e.g. you have £445 of JP Morgan shares as manual investments and £160 or JP Morgan shares within the pie?
If not then this is definitely some bizarre bug.
BTW sorry for not replying sooner. For some reason, I didn’t get any notification of your reply.
Yes, but if it in Investment account when you close the Pie you are going to have a tax to pay from the delivered supply. The rate to Buy and rate to Sell also.
Thank you for the info @maxkshaw and @ivailo42.
I went with my solution from earlier. I withdrew the investment from all three, then reinvested it back into my Pie. It seems to be right now.
I hope you both have a blessed week

Not sure what you mean. You can move investments in and out of a pie without buying/selling. This is called Importing and Exporting investments. This doesn’t affect tax as no trades are made.
