About lending shares

Hi,

Is there a way to increase the percentage which is being lent from a given long position I have? Is the underlying decision completely randomized or does something go into that calculation (of course the more global shorting of a stock the more likely more of my shares will potentially be lent but other than that?)

For instance I want to lend 100% of a long position, how can I achieve that?

Thanks

Hey, @JustLookingThx

There’s no way to increase the % of lent shares manually for now. The number is based on the current supply and demand, and nothing is randomised by us. Shares with low availability and high demand are more likely to be borrowed, so it’s likely you will see a higher % of lent-out shares for positions that meet this criteria.
