Does anyone know who the CSD for UK assets purchased vis T212 is please?
There’s a help page that says that the CSD for US shares is the Depository Trust Company (DTC).but I haven’t found anything for UK assets.
There isn’t one.
There are 5 CREST enabled share registrars which function between them as the equivalent.
These are Link Asset Services, Equiniti, Computershare, Neville Registrar’s and Share Registrars Ltd.
They hold the centralised records for any company they are registrar’s for.
Its not centralised in the same way as the DTC in America
