I think it’s fair to say that the intrinsic value of the money itself is pretty worthless seen as it’s just paper. It’s more-so the socially agreed representation of money as a de facto representation for capturing the concept of value is where the use case is!
On the Bitcoin debate, I’ve been very vocal on this forum about my dislike for it. I can see the likes of Visa or Mastercard becoming more involved in the blockchain space and would love to see fiat currency integrated with blockchain. I can see that becoming a thing moro-so than Bitcoin or any other crypto taking over as a payment system. I’m not even sure does anybody still think Bitcoin will be an alternative payment system these days? It seems agreed upon even amongst the most hardcore crypto enthusiasts that it is a store of value.
@phildawson Have you found Nexo to be a safe, secure platform? I was considering getting some stablecoins just for the interest on Nexo.
Crypto is ridiculous, it reminds me of going to a vape shop. Those kind of people…Oh yeah berry blast coin or T-rex coin. What a joke. Anyway I look forward to my payday loans soaring when people lose their fortunes, keep buying crypto.
When I ask people why they buy it they can’t even explain they don’t even know the variables between the coins, if this doesn’t tell you something then you shouldn’t invest. Do you think John on site or Tariq on the corner shop are going to be millionaires from this crypto boom, no…
Yeah I should say I am in ADA it makes up 15% of my portfolio . What I’m saying is in hindsight I should have loaded the boat . My crypto life is relatively short so you live and learn.
You and me both! My first buy was in May-20 and wish I had bought more. However, better late than never. Cardano is at this price without smart contracts, can’t wait to see how it evolves with smart contracts !
Coinbase has a very simple interface, but i think slightly higher fees for trading, but i think the equivalent to T212 would be eToro, though i have no experience with that.
Coinbase Pro offers similar to Binance. The advantage of Binance is having new alts way before Coinbase Pro gets them. Binance also has lower maker/taker fees based on BNB holding and referral kickbacks too. Binance also has way way more pairs available.
Another to look at is Kraken which is comparable to Coinbase Pros liquidity and coins available.
