Hi!
Something odd is going on about the web version of the T212 app.
I keep my accounts on a spreadsheet and they match the data I see on the phone perfectly: value, total return and net deposits are accurate to the second decimal place.
However, if I look on the online app, the total value remains the same but the total return differs by € 11.19 (net deposits decrease and total return increases).
Please, does anyone have an explanation for this?
I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, but I don’t understand what it is. I have already checked my numbers several times, but I haven’t got a clue.
Could this be a difference introduced by the new interface?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Hey, @gtafuro
We recently rolled out a new update and the data you see on the portfolio tab is calculated differently from the way it was previously done. The total value now includes everything in your portfolio, including investments and cash. On the other hand, the result displayed under the ‘Return’ tab includes the total profit or loss from your activity, including investment performance, dividend income, interest, FX fee, government taxes, and all other transactions from the past.
Currently, the update is available on the web app for all clients while we’re still rolling it out to iOS and Android users. Hence, you may see the old way data was displayed on your app.
@Investor-Ninja I can see that other members discussed the changes further after you left your comment in the main topic, but I assume you may find the above information useful. If you still have questions, feel free to send me a direct message.
