BABA is above my buy price, but it still shows me a loss. Am I missing something here?
Just the foreign exchange effect.
These stocks are traded in USD, and most probably your account is denominated in non-USD.
So you are gaining profits in the stock price and losing in the FX, in this case FX looses > Stock price profit.
