To calculate CGT we need all buy orders and all sell orders across all years.
Why limit the download to 1 year.
Simple change surely and will save us hours?

You can select and download data going further back than one year, but you’re limited to downloading one year per individual download.
That said, I do wish there were an option to download all historical data in one go, even if it had to be queued and processed when the database is under less load. It would save users time.
Additionally, when I’ve tried to download the data in segments and append them together in the past, the files don’t always contain matching columns depending on the types of transactions within each timeframe. This makes merging them cumbersome and error-prone.

I have to combine multiple downloads and then I manipulate the columns a bit and paste it into cgtcalculator.com on the web and it works out the CGT
I need all data because some shares may have been bought years ago but sold in the tax tear
