ETF doesn't appear when trying to add to Pie

Hi everyone,

So I’m trying to add a specific ETF to my Pie, but I can’t seem to be able to do it. When I use Search on the main screen I can find it, and I can add it to my watchlist. But when I try to find it when I’m creating the Pie, it doesn’t appear.

The ETF I’m talking about is iShares Core MSCI Emerging Markets USD (EIMI) from the London Stock Exchange, which has USD as the currency.

There is another iShares Core MSCI Emerging Markets ETF on the London Stock Exchange which is EMIM, which has GPX as the currency. This one we can add as expected.

Does anyone know the reason for this? I contacted support through the Chat but they didn’t know the answer…

Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum, @CarlosD.

To be able to add the share to the Pie, the share must be fractional.

Thanks @libreus ! Appreciate that

I had a similar question - thanks @libreus !

Had the same experience when trying to add PHI. What dictates if a stock / ETF / trust is fractional? Is that decided T212’s side or is it the fund / ETF / trust that decides?

Trading 212’s side. They have to go through the process of making it fractional, and they’re in the process of making every single instrument fractional soon!

are you able to buy the ETF separately then import it into the pie?

No, I just bought PHI separately outside my pies.
