A mechanism to directly transfer ETF holdings between different stock exchanges without selling and rebuying. For example, moving shares of Vanguard’s All-World ETF from VWRA (London) to VWCE (Xetra) to consolidate positions. This would:

  • Avoid transaction costs
  • Prevent triggering taxable events
  • Maintain your original cost basis
  • Simplify portfolio management across exchanges

Is there any other broker that facilitates this - they usually have unique IDs to each exchange. Cross listing exchanges are rare and carry costs.
