Feature Request: AutoInvest option to invest all available free funds (“Sweep to Zero”)
Currently, AutoInvest requires a fixed amount to be set. If the account balance is lower than that amount on the scheduled date, the investment is skipped entirely — there is no fallback to “invest whatever is available.”
I’d like to request a new AutoInvest mode: “All available free funds” (or a “Sweep to Zero” toggle).
How it would work:
- Instead of a fixed amount, the user selects “All available free funds” as the investment amount
- On the scheduled date, AutoInvest invests the entire current free cash balance into the selected Pie
- If the balance is €0, the cycle is simply skipped (no error, no notification needed)
- Optionally: allow a configurable minimum threshold (e.g. “only sweep if at least €10 is available”)
Why this is useful:
- Users who receive variable income or irregular transfers want to invest everything without manual intervention
- It removes the need to guess a “safe” fixed amount each month
- It aligns with a common personal finance goal: keep €0 idle cash, invest everything automatically
- Currently the only workaround is a manual monthly investment, which defeats the purpose of AutoInvest
This would make the AutoInvest feature significantly more powerful for long-term, passive investors. Would love to see this added — happy to hear if others have the same need! ![]()
