Forex fee deduction in "return" value

Was wondering the other day: when you check your completed trade via history the summary shows you the forex exchange fee and the return.

Is the forex fee already deducted from return and just shown for clarity?

Indeed.

The return shows your actual return in your own currency, and the details shows how much comes from the actual position, in its own foreign currency, and the FX effect.

Many users found the “Return” to be confusing and not matching the actual performance of an underlying asset (because of FX fluctuation), which prompted T212 to add these details for clarity.
