I see many beautiful minds here in the forum and would love to follow these users.
In other words: I’d like to get notified about any comment from them anywhere in the forum.
I can’t find such an option anywhere here…

There is no way to receive notifications. Some might think that would be contrary to the spirit of what the community is for.
However, you can go to a user’s Profile page and see a list of their recent Activity.
You could create a message to yourself containing links to the Profile pages of people whose posts you would like to occasionally review.
