You’re missing my point. I’m not saying its right, or that IB not being able to process orders yesterday was right - it’s an absolute joke. I’m just saying that yesterday I was stuck unable to buy or more importantly sell GME for a good while.

Does this apply when selling AMC as well ?

You realise these stocks were halted for periods of time which is normal when they have significant movement?

Terms and conditions are clear there’s no room for probabilities here I’m afraid. You may as well read the T&Cs before taking a guess.

Uh yh lol I’ve been trading for 4 years I know what a halt is but I’m not talking about halts, if you were then sorry for misunderstanding, I thought we were talking about broker issues.

Can someone from T212 comment on the legality of this? We are aware of the risks, it is our money to spend. Are you still fulfilling your obligation as our broker by preventing us from buying a particular stock? Especially when all signs are pointing to the stock making us a lot of money!
