GameStop & AMC Entertainment In Reduce-Only Mode

What do you mean ? Not sure I understand.

Hi David, i am really worried. I bought a stock for koss yesterday and sold it but pressed cancel very quickly afterwards. Since then the stock’s cancellation is pending. It won’t cancel at all however I can still buy more and sell those extra shares. I think there is a glitch with the app. Please can you do something? Thank you

They will be fined for coordinating

He won’t answer on this thread it’s too hot

If a financial regulator finds evidence of market manipulation there will be a fine imposed. Any fines are merely a slap on the wrist for these firms, especially compared to what they stand to lose here.

You know what really BOTHERS me?

Usually when volatility is extremely high, trading is paused (all together)

It is a scandal that only buying was paused.
This choice has been made deliberately and you cannot talk your way around that.

Just pause everything if you cannot handle it. But why stop buying ONLY. This is market manipulation and should be taken seriously!

EXACTLY. I don’t even mind if there was an extra pop-up to warn people of the risk but how can you stop buying only? I sold out of a couple positions for no reason in order to buy today. Doubt there will be any compensation.

On the bright side after dropping 50% from the intraday high it has gained 100%+ from the low. Wild ride that’s for sure, gl with your support request!

I am seriously considering legal moves. I will get information first what my possibilities are, this is no joke.

There are many that would have assumed the dramatic drop was a short-ladder attack and that the lows were a big buying opportunity.

Already reported T212 and IB to the FCA whisteblowing email. There are already two class actions lawsuits against Robinhood in the US.

According to Bloomberg, SEC is monitoring activity on GameStop (but also a whole bunch of other suspicious stocks) and Elizabeth Warren is pushing regulators to take action.

It’s really interesting. Democrats now have a chance to show where they really stand on those issues. Curious to see how things are gonna unfold in the wake of all those Great Reset declarations…

GameStop and AMC should file complaint. It is not legal that brokers are not allowing people to buy shares of their companies.

I believe T212 is not allowing me to sell my share, is bcoz they stop Game stock trading. So when and if it starts trading value will be very low as major funds will buy and cash out all the profit. And we can then hold the massive losses.

Not only brokers can suspend or stop the trading on one or several stocks, but also the stock exchanges, NYSE, NASDAQ, etc.

Also the financial regulators, e.g., the US SEC could order the suspension of stock trading.

Suspending all trade is one thing, blocking people from buying and only allow selling is another.
