History - Leave it where it was

The History info is important.

Let’s stop hiding and adding additional steps to get to info that was readily available on the first page - please?

First you have a UI made for mobile and completely horrible to use in browsers. And then you add more and more and more popups, and make it harder to get to the info we actually need?

Who amongst you is actively making these decisions and sabotage the service?

Hey, @Vio :waving_hand:

The ‘History’ button, as well as the other buttons that were previously located on the bottom of an instrument’s page, are now all available when you click on the three dots at the top right. This was done to make all of the buttons accessible right away instead of having to scroll to the bottom of each instrument’s page.

Correct, however now I have to click twice more to get to the info that was on the main page. I’d happily have you stash away Stats, Financials, General info, Social, and News. I personaly have never used them - don’t need them. But History is important.

You’re going to have all info about the company on the first page.

But half of the info regarding my open position on the page ‘you own’ and the other half hidden away requiring further navigation to access ‘History’?

That doesn’t make sense to me. You know better I guess, but from a usability standpoint, going to 2 places to see info about my position doesn’t make much sense.

Also, please show more info once into History as requested before and consolidate partial fills also as requested before, please.

Thank you!

Maybe it would be better to have more customisation. Allow the user to choose which modules are displayed on the homepage and adjust the layout.

@vio I actually love their mobile-first UI on the desktop browser, very sleek. As for the history, yes, now there’s an additional click to get to it. But before that, the history button was at the very bottom of the long page and we had to scroll to it first, which was worse.

Two additional clicks I’d say.

Before : Select the investment > scroll down
Now: Select the investment > click 3 dots > click History

I moved your topic here, @Rebecca1214. We moved the ‘History’ button to a menu on the top right side of the instruments page.

But where can we find the history in CFD now?

The History button is top right and buy/sell now at the bottom. That makes no sense. The other buttons with History aren’t much use to me.
You need to check history before buying and selling.

History, the chart intervals, chart type and making the chart full screen, all require extra clicks now and it’s super annoying. It was nice before with the full screen and chart type on the top left with the interval on the bottom right. Going into ‘settings’ each time I want to change is just ludicrous

Does anyone know why the History button has gone from the bottom of each stock?
(not the History in settings) it only seems to be in Isa not Invest.

Welcome to the Community, @Waheguru4u :waving_hand:

I’ve moved your topic here since we covered that earlier in the discussion :backhand_index_pointing_down:

Would you kindly stop messing with the layout you guys are taking out all the features that were handy, hiding things and making things more difficult to access, time charts now under another button I gotta press which takes away from quick trading. If it ain’t broken don’t bloody fix it! These new layout updates are horrible and make me wanna switch the broker. Everything worked fine why do you have to keep making a mess out of the layout? Very upset.

elieve the new UI features can definitely be useful, but it would be great if there were more options for personalization. Personally, I would appreciate more professional CFD functionalities — even if they may seem more complex at first glance. At the same time, for the investment account, I prefer a simple overview with a solid social feed.

Currently, many features are being introduced, but since every user follows a different strategy, some features are useful to one person and inconvenient to another. Of course, I understand that you can’t combine everything at once, but offering a few clear modes to choose from would be helpful. For example: a “Pro Mode,” an “Easy Trade/Invest Mode,” and a “Social Mode.” That way, each user can tailor the platform to their preferred investing style.

As for the overview: it would be useful to be able to easily switch between the current layout and, for example, an advanced screener. switch with , a simple ETF screener would be very welcome — especially for crypto ETFs and commodity ETFs. Something similar to what Scalable Capital offers could work well: first showing the actual underlying asset, with the ETFs grouped underneath. And for those who prefer a more traditional view, they could opt for a basic ETF list without asset-based sorting. This kind of flexibility allows you to cater to different types of investors.

I’d like to be able to see my trade history when I select a share.
Currently I have to click the three dots, then click history, which seems really unnecessary.
There’s no option to add it into the “Reorder Screen” section and I’m sure it used to be there.
