How I built an Automated Dividends Dashboard 💧

Hello Investors!
Frist of all, I have been using T212 Invest since February 2024: I love the platform, the features it has and I liked how the developers have updated the app over the years. I have always been fascinated by number somehow: since I was I child I liked to make number count to be perfect matching with the real final result. I often browse the post feed in the T212 app, and I see many users asking for this and that feature to be included in the app. While the free app is amazing, I realized that deep dividend tracking and future projections were missing. So, I spent a lot of time trying to make a basic dividend tracking chart for myself. From there I added a total dividend income value, then yield on cost, and I just couldn’t stop until I built a full automated Dividends Dashboard!

the dividends received so far exactly matches the value in the T212 app:

This dashboard has an automation engine that syncs to your T212 account data by simply pressing a button:

I think the stacked chart is a bit too much  : every colour stacked is a different asset. Should I just use a normal column chart with a single colour?

I think having these data on hand can complete your investing experience, especially if you are a long term minded investor who is focused on growth, and wants to see how you are performing month after month and year after year with your dividends. If you have more ideas, or more features that you want to see in the tracker, please let me know in the comments. I will be happy to reply to your comments

You might want to invest in a new keyboard as your return button doesn’t appear to be working.

what do you mean? E N T E R

It’s not the easiest post to read!

Would you mind to share it?

I do wish trading 212 has something like this built in…

Does it work by the official API?

Yes, it is syncs via API

What approach and data sources did you use to forecast future dividends, both dates and amounts? How far into the future do you forecast? Do you reconcile the forecast against actual amounts when the dividends are paid?
