Hyundai Delisting

Decided to get back to trading, and wanted to buy some Korean industry stocks, bought myself some Hyundai, and apparently did it the day before it was delisted… Does anyone know how i could proceed with this or what to expect ? This is very unpleasant… and the FAQ section, as well as live assistant aren’t very helpful… Did i just burn a bunch of cash or do i have hope of somehow getting my money back ?

Did you invest in Hyundai Motors listed on the LSE?

If so, this seems to be the relevant RNS (News issued to the London stock exchange / shareholders):

This seems to be the most relevant section, however I don’t fully understand:

My guess is that you will probably need to wait for T212 to notify you what option there is. It’s probably worth getting in touch with them or let’s see what information they can provide here.

It was already mentioned here with the note “awaiting further details”

So just be patient, probably there isn’t any further information to be shared right now.

Same with however after checking around managed to know that there is event already there you can check it in event section mostly will be past event with 19th Dec date , 1 called delisted and other called full early redemption and as per support this will give you full cash or maybe exchange with other security date of getting it done still not confirmed

Thanks guys for the help and info. I guess i’ll just wait then. Hopefully it will work out. Please share any updates if you find any, i’m keeping an eye but i’m not a pro at this…

The delisting is still pending, but you can be sure that once everything is finalized, we’ll reflect the event accordingly and notify all shareholders.

Hi, I’m reading that in the case of a delisting such as Hyundai there is either a transfer to another stock exchange of existing shares (not possible here) or you have to buy / sell them OTC ie manually thru a broker. Please advise as I’d like to sell mine. Delisting doesn’t mean the shares no longer exist it just means we can’t buy or sell on an exchange. Or - if 212 is selling everyone’s OTC please let us know?

Thanks for the update. Do you have a rough timescale on when funds will be available. Many have large sums of money invested in this at the moment so would appreciate some clarity :pray:
