You can share links, what was disallowed was flooding the social topic with posts that were solely links.

yeah, no i meant sharing it on Pies are social topic or something less relevant. but hey happy to share 1 way or the other

The problem is that now every time there is an update on ark pie we need to pay the fx tax …therefore it doesn’t make sense to use the pies for ark, better use a broker with the real etf

I don’t think a lot of ARK ETFs are UCITS compliant so cant be sold in Europe, hence the creation of ARK copy pies. The fees probably remove the benefit from copying them depending on how often you need to rebalance.

No, here I’m Italy the Ark etf are sold both on Fineco and Directa

In Portugal and Spain there are several banks with the ARK ETFs, the original ones, not CFDs.
In the Portuguese banks (4) they are offered through the Saxo Bank white-label trade solution.
And any investor could buy these ETFs although they aren’t UCITS complaint, banks have done their own KID.

PS: Why my posts in this topic need to be approved by moderators?

this is fantastic…I was waiting for this feature…

Dear @Wit
Thanks a lot for this update. I just want to add a point, that you have mentioned in the next update you will show comprehensively what has changed. I was thinking it would be great if you can use the ā€œoverlayā€. for example overlay the new changes on the previous ones, such that the change is very visible.

Thanks a lot.
Best,

With this new feature, besides the bad choices risk of the original pies, now with FX fee, there will be another risk, overtrading risk on foreign exchange stocks.

Now the DD is even more important, besides potential losses due to market risk, the overtrading risk on foreign exchange stocks (ā€œfee spiralā€).

Also beware with pies with UK stocks and investment trusts (0.5% Stamp Duty Tax - buy only) and French stocks with market cap >1B (0.3%Transaction Tax - buy only), overtrading will generate more taxes charged.

All three situations, market risk, overtrading FX fees and overtrading taxes will eat money frequently.
