Issue With Share Holding and Cash Amount

Iā€™ve only just come across an issue with one of the holdings in my S&S account.

My investment shows as this:

Sandp Tech Sector 2

However, when I look into the investment pie I see this.

Sandp Tech Sector 1

I donā€™t understand what has happened. Iā€™ve been under the impression for weeks that I own 23.08 shares now I donā€™t have a clue whatā€™s going on.

Iā€™ve looked in Orders and can see the buy orders were filled.

Can somebody please advise? Thanks in advance.

PS: Where you can see the word ā€˜Flameshotā€™ on the image thatā€™s just an app I used to take a screenshot.

What is the instrument in the first screenshot? Did you buy it outside or inside of the pie?

If you look at the Investments tab can you see the instrument there?

Hi, I think I bought some iShare S&P 500 Information Technology Sector outside the pie, the others were already in it, I just went to see if the full investment was in the pie or not, to then import the rest of the shares.

The first screenshot was taken inside the investment tab. Where it shows the 23.

If I go to Withdraw it shows this, instead of 23 shares:

Sandp Tech Sector 4

Something has clearly gone wrong. As I can see the buy orders filled via History > Orders.

Is it possible you have misunderstood the investments you hold in Pie A,B,ā€¦. And not in the pie?

When you try to import to the pie do the investments show?

Another thing to check is whetyer you have bought some from a different account. I.e your pie is in ISA but you also hold investments in your invest account.

The best thing to do is to go to your account and in the menu is a documents tab where you can generate a document called ā€œConfirmation of holdingsā€. That will give you a list of all instruments held across your accounts.

Hey, @Jamie-The-Pie-Eater

When you have manual and pie investments, the total number of shares will be divided. You can use the filter to check both your manual and pie investments or just one of the two options.

If you want all shares to appear in your pie, you can use import investments, which will turn the manually purchased shares into pie investments.

In case you have trouble with the import option or something else, please send me a DM.

DOUGAL!! Thatā€™s it! and @krr13 thank you for your help.

Forgive me everyone. I have found the ā€˜missingā€™ shares. I was utterly exhausted after hiking in the Lake District yesterday.

I realise that when I exported holdings out of one of my first pies I must have thought it was a good idea to keep these iSahres Tech in it.

So, yes, the new ones I bought are in a different pie and I feel a bit silly for over reacting instead of calmly going through my account and working it out.

Thank you for helping me.

Morning Veselin, thank you, it looks like I have figured it out with all the help given here.

Iā€™ll export the shares from one pie so that they will all appear together.

Thanks and have a good day!
