Johnson and Johnson - JNJ-

I like JNJ, particularly for its devices devision. Loaded up at $148 and don’t plan to add further until I review my portfolio later on in the year.

They also have their vaccine coming out soon, may cause a further rise in the stock price.

Good luck

Also, try looking at it on a free cash flow yield basis. I look for around >4% FCF yield

I divided the current share price provided, which is 167 USD by the initial price of 6 USD and did the 29th root.

Which gives a value of 1.12

You then subtract 1 (which is the integer representing the initial amount lets say) and multiply it by 100 to get the annual increase in percentage, which leaves you with 12%.

The generic formula would be this:

Where:
P is the price
i is the initial investment
T is the time in years

Mathematically, in case your calculator at home has a “to the powers of” sign and not a “root sign”, the Tth root is the same as putting something to the power of 1/T.

I find that it is not very easy to explain, so feel free to ask again or mention if it is not clear. I am confident that between a few of us we can arrive at a good explanation that can be understood .

Note: If anyone sees a mistake, please let me know

Jnj great company. Been long for nearly two years now and not disappointed. A cautious ship sails for a thousand years.

Don’t think the vaccine will do very good. Hearing a lot of negative feedback because of the lawsuits they have regarding the cancer ingredients in the products.

To be honest long term I dont think the vaccine matters to companies profits massively, especially JNJ, I would see the dip on vaccine news as a good buying point, similar to when SBUX dipped on ‘bad news’ despite it was actually very positive overall.

Does anyone know about the KVUE spin off? What can/should we do if we want to exchange?
