Missing Dividend

I haven’t received Dividend for Diversified Energy(DEC) for the previous 2 dividend declarations (May 25, 2023 and Aug 31, 2023), received today only for the latest dividend declaration(Nov 30, 2023 ex-dividend date).

Although it’s a small amount, i would like to know why this is missing?
Is my understanding wrong based on dividend declarations from Diversified Energy?

Happy New Year @vvsvin! You opened your position with $DEC on 31.08.2023, making you ineligible for the previous distributions.

In order to be eligible for a dividend, the shares should be bought before the ex-date.

So the ex-dividend date 31/08 isn’t applicable for the position opened on 31/08.
