Iāve seen a few comments about the new alert dialogue box from people who donāt like it.
Thereās a problem/bug with it (aside from the aesthetics). I used to put notes on alerts to remind me what the alert was for (ie āBuyā or āSell 10ā). These still work. It took me ages to find how to edit the note - the new dialogue may look nice at first glance but really isnāt.
To edit the note you have to go into the alert and then click the pen icon in the top right, edit the note, click save and you are then back to the alert dialogue box. You think great Iāve edited my note I can just close the alert. NO you have to save changes otherwise the edits get thrown away. Whatās even more annoying is that if you donāt change the alert price it says you canāt save it because its not changed. Thus you canāt edit the note without changing the alert level.
T212 has a great platform and great developers but the testing is seriously flawed/lacking
Far too many inputs now, some thing that before the update was so simple and straight forward. Where everything you needed was in one dialogue box. Now it is across three different screens.
Also, the UI designer/programmer decided to embed a number pad???
A number input where you cant place the cursor anywhere in the number, you have to deleted all that precede it to change the numbers. E.G. a Stock is 1999.99. I want to change it to 1899.99. You have to press delete all the way to 1, then key in all the numbers again. Instead of clicking at the desired 9, deleting and keying 8, save, done.
Plus, on the stock home page it only lists 3 of the price alerts!!! with yet another button that says āShow allā Rickdiculous. Just show them all!! No need open another dialogue box. Make it all clear, concise and most importantly compressive, and a single view.
Why, why, why, make adding a price alert so difficult?
My greatest fear, is they think these changes are good , and they infect buying & selling with them.
Just add the old price alert design back, please /\
