Isn’t the platform meant for investing and not for day-trading? Technical voodoo just encourages people to trade a lot, which is usually harmful to their long-term returns,
The platform is meant to support whatever strategy the investor or trader wants to use it for. It would be counter-productive to design your product with only one demographic of the user base in mind.
The alert I’ve requested is geared more toward a swing trading approach rather than a day trading one, although I’m sure it could be used for both, however I’m not a day trader so that certainly isn’t my intention for its use.
I’m not sure that is true. Did you read the terms and conditions? People have had their accounts closed down for day trading and abusing the “zero fee per trade” aspect.
I think you’re referring to scalping, but that isn’t the only trading strategy out there. Many other strategies are perfectly allowed. There are also plenty of features and communities specifically designed for trading where people discuss their setups (especially within the CFD account).
