Hi,
If so, please correct me. It’s about investing.
If I buy some shares from another currency and there is an FX fee, is this fee added to the displayed profit P/L for that asset?
The point is that if I see a profit of say +$100 and sell all the shares, will I have a real profit of $100 or will it be realistically less, because the purchase of the shares should have cost $10 for the FX transfer. So the real profit will only be $90 even though I see $100?
Because the idea of buying X stock with an FX fee of $1000. I will see a profit of +$200 and decide to sell everything. So I will actually be out -$800.
So does the resulting P/L on the asset include the FX fee?
If this is not the case and the P/L does not include the purchase FX fee, then please. Could it be added? It would help a lot.
Thanks
