Portfolio transfers

It feels like those fees are DG fees. DG since at least when was bought, is constantly creating or increasing their fees.

Some banks and brokers have high exit transfer fees to convince their customers to stay.

But maybe T212 can clarify if there are “external exchange fees” when transferring out the portfolio, in case of T212, there isn’t any.

This is now complete
All process took just over a calendar month
Equate to HL: 20 days
HL to HL (owner change): 3 days
HL to T212: 9 days
No fees charged at any stage

The above allows ÂŁ600 saving on CGT on allowance plus further 10% on gains over ÂŁ3K where one family member is higher tax payer

For those who recently transfered a position from Degiro to T212, how long did this take? Did you have to only complete the transfer request in T212 or did you also had to reach out to Degiro?
Thanks

I just referred a friend and his newly created account has portfolio transfers enabled but mine (months old account) still not - why is that ?

Is there any plan on having in specie partial transfers out? I would like to transfer out some long-term ETFs eventually.

As we’re now close to the full rollout, some new accounts may have the feature enabled right away. I’ll send you a direct message to grab some additional information and check this for you :eyes:

Not for the time being, but I’ll let you know if this changes and we start offering partial outgoing transfers

Has anyone tried with shareview/equiniti? Are there any fees from them?

Can we transfer our portfolio to Interactive Brokers?

If afirmative, how much time could the transfer take?

Sorry to disappoint you, but nothing has changed since our last response regarding portfolio transfers with IBKR; they are still not supported.

Hi Bogi

I’m looking to transfer shares out of equiniti shareview account into my trading 212 isa. I’ve noticed that’s not a platform currently supported by transfers. Is there currently any proposals to add the aforementioned platform to one of the options for transferring into Trading212? If not could you suggest adding this platform?

Cheers

Hey, @Beerboy

The list of supported brokers only shows the most popular options. Currently, we support transfers from two entities of Equinity. You can try searching them by name from the ‘Portfolio transfers’ menu and then choose the entity depending on your account number. If you still need help, please send me or Bogi a private message, and we’ll assist further :raised_hands:

Having looked at some previous posts I don’t believe that I can transfer shares from Equinity Shareview into my T212 ISA so I suppose it would need to go into my T212 invest account? When I looked on the portfolio transfer screen it will only allow the transfer to come from a cash ISA or a stocks ISA. My Equinity shares are neither of these.

I am waiting for the portfolio transfer for quite some time. Is there something I can do to expedite it? Thanks

Hi. I have a portfolio with Revolut that I want to transfer in but I note that it is not one of the providers available. Is there an ETA on when/if it will be?

Thanks

Hello, everyone

@JYvhopeful You can request a stocks & cash transfer from Equinity. If these are instruments that we offer, then the shares can be moved over to us.

@Vincent212 I dropped you a message here to offer assistance with your case - please check your inbox.

@Abingham74 At the moment, Revolut is not part of the supported brokers for portfolio transfers. We’ll keep you posted if that changes in the future.

I saw in the Revolut app that Trading 212 is an option to transfer from into Revolut. Are you sure it’s not supported?

Hi @HuskyDogg, portfolio transfers to Revolut are supported. The receiving entity is DriveWealth LLC, which led to Veselin’s initial mix-up.

To make things clearer, we’ve updated the broker list to show Revolut (DriveWealth).

I can now find Revolut when I search for it, but there’s a bug. It doesn’t appear in the list without searching!

Can you check it? Also it might be the same for other brokers.

This isn’t a bug. The static list highlights only the most popular/frequently requested brokers for transfers. However, the full list of supported brokers is much more extensive - using the search function will help you find these options.
