To be fair, I can’t buy this dip with Hargreaves Lansdown, and it remains the case that plenty of other platforms are also restricted in the same way.
I wonder whether the SEC and FCA will be investigating this?
Anyway, I’m looking forward to when the $GME movie hits the cinemas!

These platforms have signed their own death warrant here. There will now be a call for one that is for the people and will not fold at the slightest sign of pressure from the establishment.

This kind of thing was seen in June last year. Maybe not the service disruptions, but limiting buys/sells.

OK, GME BB AMC are suspended, what’s the excuses with t212 today? I can’t logon 8 out of 10 mites.
BTW WSB are going to sue RH and IB… that will be fuuuun, would be nice to hear if t212 will be affected.

For anyone wishing to have no restrictions on their account the only option is to upgrade your account to professional, otherwise the regulator does not allow it! T212 are doing what all the other brokers out there are required to do when markets are too volatile.
