Privacy Mode - BRING IT BACK

Hopefully I’m not the only person to miss the privacy mode, this feature was brilliant when working in public spaces. I do enjoy a lovely show off moment however flashing your figures to on lookers isnt the best way to make friends.

I’m sitting in the corner in coffee shops & airplanes causes the person next to me to pretend to scratch their nose and peak at my screen.

PLEASE BRING BACK PRIVACY MODE

Thank you for the feedback. We understand your point and we’ll consider bringing the feature back. I’ll let you know if there are any further updates.

If you don’t mind me asking, why was it removed?

Yes, it would be great to have a privacy mode on the mobile phone app also

I highly doubt they’ll bring it back for some reason

You contradict yourselves by adding news and social media features but not including a privacy mode. I can’t read the news on public transport or check community posts with friends without showing my overall balance first. Simply being able to hide the balance at the top would be a big improvement, as it’s quite noticeable.

I agree and it has been mentioned here in the past.
I don’t know whether they are working on it.

I get where you are coming from @Wheelasd. We’ve wrapped up the design for the privacy mode, and it will soon be put into the development pipeline. :spiral_calendar:

Can you introduce an “eye open/eye closed” icon to allow users to hide or unhide their account balance within the app?

This aims to improve user privacy and security when accessing the app in public spaces. This feature will help prevent others from viewing sensitive financial information when the app is open.

Fantastic idea, they brought it back and then it’s gone again

Strongly agreed, or have the option to just show percentages of the portfolio invested/value change in percentages

for some reason, development has gone backwards.
