Privacy Mode - BRING IT BACK

Could you add an optional privacy toggle to hide the total account value across the app, so only percentages and performance graphs remain visible? The screenshot shows the exact behaviour I’m suggesting — the £ amount is hidden, but growth trends and percentage changes are still fully viewable.

This would be a simple but highly useful feature for anyone checking their account in public spaces like cafés, trains, or workplaces. It would help prevent accidental disclosure of sensitive information and protect users from shoulder-surfing, while keeping the app fully functional. A quick on/off toggle or PIN/biometric reveal would make this both secure and convenient.

Hi everyone! I know many of you have been asking about this, so I wanted to share a quick update - ‘Privacy Mode’ is among the next features we’ll work on.

It will be available on both the Web and Mobile apps. It’s been one of the most requested features, and we really appreciate your patience.

Noticed that we had a small UI update recently, is this still in the pipeline for the privacy features.

It does seem strange that 212 doesnt have it given that people have said it used to exist.

It’s still something we have in mind, but I cannot provide an ETA just yet. Once there are updates, I’ll let you know :folded_hands:

I join the requests in a discreet way for both the app and the web version

I want to also share my feedback in support of this request. In my opinion it’s an easy win-win feature for both Trading212 and investors.

Hi Trading 212

Is possible to add a button that hides the portfolio value? Would be nice to share portfolios without letting know how big is the account. Let show only the percentage of the portfolio in relation to the portfolio value.

Hope can be improved couse for me is very important to keep privacy

Thx Best Regard Serdar

There isn’t any news at the moment. Once there are updates, I’ll share them in this thread.

I also think it’s a very useful feature to introduce.

Quick update: Privacy Mode is now available in both the mobile and the web app. If you’re using the mobile app, please make sure you have the latest version.

WOW…
Device motion to active Privacy, Seriously? that is frickin hilarious.
Just add a button!!

What’s maybe more serious, there is no security before the balances are shown again. I think there should be a PIN, Face/ Touch ID or whatever coming up before Privacy turns off.
