Question regarding deposit and withdrawal with Revolut

Actually now I tested my Premium Visa by Revolut. Worked :beers:

you think we are good to go and use it safe to top up and withdraw?

@timblackjack On our end Revolut cards are handled as any other debit/credit card.

I also tested with mine and it worked! Maybe Revolut no longer blocks this merchant category.

Or maybe many of our user have complained to them about this and they finally gave way

so should be able to use them as all other cards  thats great!

@George now more AML question, is Bankwire/debit card Revolut considered same source? Meaning if i deposited via Bank wire revolut, now switch to card from Revolut. Would it be 1 source thus withdrawal to card or?

What a great timing for Autoinvest

Just tested my debit card (standard) and it worked

@timblackjack thats true only if their card behaves as any other card. I can’t speak for that.

I think @Tony.V is better equiped to answer this

@Vedran They are considered as 2 separate deposit sources, so the standard AML procedure is again applied.

People complaining about lack of support on T212.

On Revolut, paying customer with ā€œPriority supportā€ 18h no answer what so ever… I wonder how much wait time for non paying customers…

So maybe folks should start appreciating fact that T212 is a free service…

I guess now I understand why the sudden change…

ā€œAs you probably know, if you exchange more than our free exchange limit in a month, you pay a fee. This limit is decreasing to 1250 CZK each month (which, our research shows, most of you won’t hit anyway). Above that limit, our fee will stay the same at just 0.5%, and we’ll let you know if an exchange will be subject to a fee.ā€

1250 CZK is like 53 USD/46€!!

Of course they are planning to gain more with that!

(It remains free for premium/metal users.)

I wrote to them to not go forward with these changes… but since they got money from new investors, I don’t think they’ll turn back.

Strange, I have funded my USD directly from my Euro based Debit card Revolut several times instantly since opening with no issue. Maybe the restriction is by base Revolut currency (non euro) rather than by Revolut itself?

As a matter of update, Revolut has just sent a correction by email saying the limit is 25000 CZK (~ 1000 $), not 1250 CZK!

Revolut support at its best lol…

What!?? Would Trading 212 have to send them back the money (considering it is still in free funds)? As the deposit works instantly I don’t see this happening…not sure what might happen here

I am also confused how my t212 gets funded but later it should be reverted per feedback, or avuscapitaluk changed its merchant code.

Or support has no idea…

I think it’s the latter, but let’s wait and see

I have also connected my Revolut card via Apple Pay and funded my pie.
