Recurring Withdrawals

Would be cool to see a recurring withdrawals option. Something like you choose how much you want to withdraw (eg £2,000), you choose the frequency (e.g. every month), and you choose which stocks/ETFs you want t212 to sell. E.g. you have a t212 account with 5 stocks in, and you setup your recurring withdrawal to sell £2,000 a month, with 75% coming from stock 1, and 25% coming from stock 2. Then the money arrives in your bank account via bank transfer without you ever having to log onto t212.

+1 automated withdrawals would be handy.

I’d also like to automate transfers between my T212 accounts.

Thinking about it, recurring deposits might be nice aswell. I think you can setup something similar in pies, but I’m all-in on 1 stock so looks ugly if I create a pie just for that. I’m pretty sure you can only pay by card on auto-invest aswell, which has fees over £2000. Would be nice to setup a standing order with your bank, and any time t212 receives money it invests whatever you set it to, eg 75% into stock 1, and 25% into stock 2. I know Hargraeves Lansdown lets you setup direct debits which gets auto-invested with stocks of your choosing, which has the same effect.

Thank you both for your input. I see how this feature would offer greater flexibility and automation with withdrawals while minimizing the actions required from the user. I’ll pass on the suggestion for consideration.

 It’s actually possible to use AutoInvest with bank transfers. Here’s how to do it:

  1. If you’re creating a new Pie, you should choose ‘Free funds’ as a payment method. Change the payment method in the ‘AutoInvest’ tab if you already have a pie.

  2. Set up a recurring bank transfer 2 to 3 days before your pie’s investment date. This ensures your money arrives in your Trading 212 account on time.
