I’m trying to set up a Standing Order from my bank to Trading212, I’m following the instructions on the Help page, but that takes me to a page that wants to set up a Direct Debit instead.
Where can I find the Trading212 Bank Details to set up a Standing Order from my bank?
That statement about recurring statements being only available for cash ISA accounts clearly does not apply to standing orders as I transfer ÂŁ300 to my Invest account every month.
The problem there is when the chosen nth of the month falls on a non-working day. You’ll have to date the transfer of funds from cash into your pie to some days later because if you miss the day, it won’t keep trying.
I have done this but I spent some time banging my head against a brick wall to get there. It’s counter intuitive in that when you get to the right place, it asks for your own bank account details first. Once you have entered these it will give you the account number and sort code you want.
The values I have are 60-92-42, 71003704 with your T212 account number as reference but if you’re wise you won’t trust account details given to you this way and without validating the sending account details first, payments will probably bounce back to your account anyway.
As I remember, you have to go to Manage Funds>Payment Methods. When I try to repeat this it won’t let me do it again as it just shows my own bank account number (no sort code).
If that fails, you’ll have to keep talking to the frustrating AI-driven help thing until you get to a real person who knows. In my case they kept trying to get me to give card details and pay by card but I hate CPA (continuous payment authority) and refused to do it.
