You could build your own pie, or take inspiration from the top holdings of this ETF to do so. The top 20 of the 100 would be around 80%. The holdings are a fairly obvious bunch. Motley Fool are probably sticking with these for the long haul. I doubt that there are suddenly going to go negative on any of their top picks. Keeping in line with the exact percentages held in this ETF will not have a big impact on return, but you could realign every few months. If you pay UK dividend tax it will be more efficient to receive dividends directly, rather than to receive the yield on the ETF which will have already suffered from 15% US withholding tax. You also save the 0.5% expense ratio. Their top 12 are:
