There’s a lot of potential and work to be done in Europe, where we have everything set and working. The US market is already ultra-competitive and it is consolidating. We would need $300-$500M to take on such an adventure. Or a strategic partner.
The days of growth hacking on a shoestring budget ($millions) in the fintech space are coming to an end. There are many fintech enthusiast because we all saw the amazing growth of a few companies. But doing now what they did 2-3 years ago doesn’t work.
Of course, there will always be opportunities. It’s just that the current cycle is coming to an end, the window is closing.
