TradingView Integration

@Puzzled_one the day before one of my charts got reset as has been the case multiple times in the past, drawings, markers, trading lines and support + resistance levels all vanished. Multiple escalations had been raised by others regarding this issue in the past month and a fix had been deployed to correct it; clearly it has not worked.

I had flagged my issue with a screenshot as evidence in this chat but my post was promptly removed, flagged as follows:

’ Your post was flagged as Account-Related : the community feels the post does not meet the general guidelines - the case is too specific and requires an individual approach by staff.'.

May be ‘New Feature and Functionality’ was an incorrect topic to post my issue, but where else on this community forum can we raise app issues? The dedicated New Web App (Beta) topic was closed without addressing issues there were raised during from our adoption efforts.

It was taken into a 1:1 email asking for my account details, platform details and customer ID that I am not interested in sharing with anyone on this community. forum.

I was planning to take it through the T212 customer support as I believe this community forum has a different security policy to the main app; I would avoid sharing any personal details here. But your question above again suggests to me that this is a wider issue, not account specific.

I think this strategy of removing posts from community forum and diverting issues to emails works best for T212, No one knows how many users are facing the exact same issue. The users also get a perception of a personalised white glove treatment through 1:1 emails.

Some of us have spent days testing the T212 charting interface over the past month that T212 should have tested even before the app was released - I hope people in support of agile methodology take notice!

We are here as users and not as a team of T212 testers and T212 should have respected our repeat follow-ups on issues that create delays and hurdles in the business we are in.

I am a day away from leaving T212 charting interface and going back to what I was using before.

Hey, @IntInv

Your post was flagged because it was posted in the “2024 Most Wanted” topic, which is aimed at more general app improvements/features. I can see that @Bogi.H immediately sent you a private message to gather more information about this. I want to stress that we really appreciate the provided feedback — we go through every single message and take into consideration everything we see here. The work on improving the web app and our services as a whole continues, even with the dedicated topic now closed.

Everyone is free to share their experience with the Community, be that positive or negative. However, not all posts can benefit the discussion, especially if the topic is account-related and requires more information in order to be resolved. If you don’t feel comfortable providing that information via the Community, you can always contact us using the in-app chat or this form. The reason we try to gather additional information in a private conversation is to prevent excessive posting while also ensuring we can effectively troubleshoot and pinpoint the possible cause of the reported issue.

Hi.

I don’t know if it is related to TradingView integration or the new web app or, probably, both, so I’ll mention them here.

There are some settings/customization that do not survive a browser restart, at least in my case where I have set the browser to delete all cookies at the exit.

For example the theme is not saved (resets to white); layout is not saved (the app re-opens with all the panels visible and reset to default dimensions.

Buy/Sell buttons and instant order placement re-default to inactive.

Navigation Controls and Panels re- default to “Visible at mouse passage”.

Favorites (starred) time frames and graph types gets deleted. Dont’t know if this applies also to others like cursor types, tools, pattern, etc., as I don’t have starred anything here.

Quantities in the instant order placement tool re-default to 1.

Panels separators lines colors re-default to black.

The latest two do not survive also a session refresh, which, by the way, I have to use quite frequently as often the graphs do not update correctly (at some pint the latest bars are not added and after a while the price line appears to be detached from the graph).

I have tried with various browsers (all set with the cookies deletion at close): same behavior.

Little things, but quite annoying in the daily usage.

Hi Team,

thanks for having fixed most of the above.

Is it possible to also save in one’s account preferences the quantities associated to the instant order placement buttons tool which gets still reset to 1:

and the panels separators colors?

With the latest release it seems there is an issue with the contestual menu associated with the + icon:

If I log off and on I get all the voices for a brief period, then all the order ones disappear again.

Thanks.

I have to correct myself. Nothing gets saved with the account yet. All settings do not survive a system/browser restart. And are not kept between devices.

I want to ask: can we have an interesting TradingView technical indicator: Moon phases? It looks like this:
obraz

Currently, we offer only the standard indicators that come with TradingView’s engine. I’ll forward your suggestion, and it will be considered should our library of indicators be expanded in the future :raised_hands:

this would allow the use of the (DOM) feature on tradingview, or we could implement this feature directly onto t212.

Currently, there are no updates regarding the ability to connect our app to TradingView, @ThisIsMyName.
