Transfer in of uninvested S&S Cash

Hi

I’ve searched for guidance on this query but draen a blank so would appreciate any views.

  1. I have a S&S isa with Hargreaves Lansdown and with T212.
  2. The HL S&S Isa holds stocks and uninvested cash.
  3. I would like to transfer the unnivested cash in the HL S&S Isa to my T212 S&S Isa.
  4. The portfolio transfer page doesn’t seem to contemplate this and the T212 help agents seem to be unsure (they said they are looking into it).

I thought this would be a fairly common scenario but possibly not.

If this is not possible, I will consider transfering all the HL S&S Isa to T212 (selecting an in specie transfer of the stocks and all cash). If I do this, does anyone know which is likely to land in the T212 Isa first - the stocks or the cash?

Many thanks in advance.

You’ll be able to transfer the uninvested cash from your S&S ISA from Hargreaves Lansdown to us. You can initiate the process from our app by following the steps below:

  1. Go to your Menu
  2. Select Portfolio transfers
  3. Choose which type of transfer you wish to execute
  4. Choose the assets you wish to transfer
  5. Sign the electronic transfer request form and confirm.

About the below - if you decide to make a full transfer (cash + shares) to your Trading 212 S&S ISA, the shares are expected to arrive first.

When i did my transfer from freetrade at end of last year, my shares arrived first and a few days later the cash arrived. Took about 5 weeks in total.
