I transfer into 212 from Halifax Isa assets and cash took 3 to 4 weeks didn’t cash in, just transferred. I personal did not sell because of transaction cost. Assests transferred in first, follow by cash a couple of days later. All good, once transfer start to action i could not access my Halifax Isa
No charge, no communication, requested transfer in 212, logged in Halifax about 10 days later, could access my account to view only account closed and about 5 days later tranfer completed
Yes this was my experience with transferring my Cash ISA to T212 as well, didn’t hear anything, getting slightly frustrated, but in less than a fortnight, the money was there!
Thanks for that info. Appreciated. It is difficult to get info from the Halifax. From what I read it implied that I would have to sell all stocks in ISA and just transfer the cash value.
I’m in the same situation holding out to see if one opens up. I know they did last year but only if you opened an ISA within a specific time window and it was 1% of contributions in that year.
@CashCow, @UKTechInvestor, thank you both for your interest. While we can’t share any updates on offering a similar promotion in the upcoming tax year, we’ll update you as soon as there’s any news.
Is there any updated when partial in specie transfers will be available for everyone? i would like to transfer most of my ISA to T212 but only cash option is available.
Thank you.
