UI Going From Good To Average

When I first joined T212 roughly a year ago, I thought this is great, much better than the other options and I thought to myself, the interface is like a conglomeration between two people, one who knows a lot about share dealing and one who knows a lot about web user interface design, well in the last week or so it’s like the one responsible for the UI has left the building and taken the source code with them, what’s going on!

The background colour for Navy has been changed from my favourite to almost the same as black, why do you want to provide the two options when they’re almost the same, why can’t you give users the option of a mid tone.

The collapse switches have been removed from the right hand section that allowed you to collapse unwanted sections and reduce clutter.

The slider indicators have been removed that used to be both on the ‘Alerts’ section and in ‘Price Alerts’ (very useful to quickly visually detect why your portfolio was dropping like a brick down a well), There is just a gaping (waste of) space there now.

‘Feed’ and ‘Social’ sections have been mashed together so you have to wade through all the social nonsense to find hard fact news and in some cases I can’t find them at all. Some sections seem to be called different things in the three dot drop down menu as well.

I keep finding little things that have changed but I’m too exhausted to bother carrying on so I’m giving up here.

I’m going to try and hang on to my iPad app which still retains the old UI, I’ve never seen an interface go from being so good to so average.

Same, I’m a year in. It was helpful and clear.
Now, I feel helpless after this update. So much info stripped or needlessly hidden. The price alerts is my biggest concern.
These UI updates are a greater risk to my Capital, than companies I’m invested in.

Joined Trading 212 a year ago, the design was perfect then. Now its a disaster, really cant see any logic why they changed it like this

I agree - the latest issue is removing the FX - this means if I have a dollar account I can’t even see what I will get unless I do yet another click.

I think the interface is full of dark patterns that complicate things and make novice users make mistakes. It really is poor.
