I’m new to T212, forgive my ignorance but what are Free Funds please?

The funds available in your account which aren’t invested. Just money what isn’t used.

Thanks for the reply, so for example if I wanted to buy another share and I was a few pounds short will that be taken out of the free funds then I could buy the share?

See it as the money in your bank account. If there is 10 GBP in your free funds, you could buy shares for 10GBP or less. If you want to buy more than 10GBP you have to deposit extra money.
