Why doesn't Trading 212 allow me to buy a whole share?

I hold the investment trust PSH. It’s my larget holding.

I have ÂŁ37.07 received as dividends in last month. I want to buy one more share of PSH. I go to buy and select 1 share (1 Share of PSH is ÂŁ36.14). Whay isnt trading 212 accepting 1 share and rounding it up to 1.026 shares when i want 1 share. It is making a botch of my shares. I only want whole shares as getting back to a whole number is a headache. What is going on here please?

I have the same problem and I hate it, I want full shares ant it does not let me.

If you placed a market order, the system may have purchased additional fractional shares due to the rapid price movements when your order was executed.

In the order tab, you can select “Number of shares”. This is the order quantity you’re placing

Keep in mind that when you’re buying, if the quantity you’re including is too close to your total free funds, the order will be converted from “Number of shares” into “Value”. This is done to protect you from buying more than you can afford in case the price goes up quickly.

The problem in this example is that I want 10 shares, and if I move the slider close to 10 it goes to 10 and a fraction, I hate that, I want only 10. And it’s always that when I want to buy close to the money i have left. Many times I don’t buy because of that, I want x amount and no one less or 0.xxx more.

Can’t you just click on the 10.159 and edit it to be exactly 10?

Can you not tap on the number and type the amount you require? I’ve tried it on mine and it works fine. I’m using app on iPhone.

Yes you can, you can change the value to 10 but as soon I minimize the keyboard it changes back to 10.xxx.
