2025 most wanted features

The Invest account is unfortunately intended only for long-term investing, while the CFD account is used for trading— in the eyes of Trading 212

SIPP has been on top for a few years, it has been promised for more than 5 years then and every year we get a poll for most wanted features.

what’s the point if they are not delivered?

The return of the Cost Basis chart to the ISA & Invest accounts. Showing Cost Basis, and rate of return, as a minimum.
The Money-Weighted Rate of Return chart seems worthless for active trading. Especially the % shown, if it even bothers showing at all.
There should be a much more comprehensive set of data and analysis tools for account performance.

Better chart would be nice the best chart I have used was shares app and stake and FT, also uk corporate bonds , I won’t mention sipp as it’s been years coming and maybe years more with lifetime isa I’ll buy a house before it comes out

Hi everyone. Would be great to view the investments but % gain/loss and not just $ amount gain/loss. The rest is good as it is

Can we get a feature which shows not just the opening price of a position (horizontal line on stock chart) but also the opening date of the position (equivalent vertical line). Provide user the option to have multiple vertical lines in case security was bought and resold many times OR move the vertical line such that it reflects the approximate average price on some day in the past.

Please upvote! Please reach out to me and I’ll be happy to elaborate.

Please implement:
1 .History statistics is not good. XTB or eToro have nice Histories, way better than Trading 212. At least have an option of selecting timeframe (month, YTD, custom timeframe), group by asset… a whole lot could be done with little to no effort. Just copy XTB…

  1. CFD results and orders export to CSV file. This is urgently needed for TAX reporting.

My most wanted feature for 2025 would be that you put the UI back to what is was on Jan 1st before you ruined it with all the recent updates, honestly, update after update you remove vital information, put options that were available on one screen behind buttons, drop down lists or remove altogether, the last straw was this price alert change, what were you thinking.

Chart shows buys and sells. ii have a nice feature to show trades on the chart and when you hover on one, it shows details. Would be nice to have this?

Most wanted though is a portfolio selection drop-down list on all screens, so when we want to buy or sell, we know which portfolio we are using (e.g. Invest or ISA or CFD, etc.). At the moment I have no idea what portfolio I am using unless I go back to main screen and then have to go back to the buy/sell screen again after selecting the correct portfolio. Even final conformation after buy/sell doesnt tell me what account I have just used!

Light year is also similar and yes ii is great for charts I will still say’s shares.io and stake was the best by far but for fintech Freetrade has a good chart but Robinhood is very innovative, please 212 but it better and not this pencil drawn looking app style

I agree wholeheartedly!

For me, the most important change needed in CFD trading is the addition an overnight interest charges display within each position/aggregated for all positions within an open instrument. Most of my trades are typically swing trades, thus most incur overnight charges. Manually totaling this up per position, per instrument is frustrating and increasingly makes me want to find a different platform to trade on. I know there’s a section in history though even that is terrible, gives figures per day instead of totals on a position, and you can’t reorder them to your liking. A display within the open positions page would be greatly beneficial. I like T212 for most other reasons, this one bugs me a lot though.
